How do we find peace in a world of opposing opinions? Where we feel oppressed and unheard, while others dominate the narrative. Where we believe we are following a higher path, and where we feel frustrated that others appear to be blindly led.
So, how do we take action in a world of opposing opinions? How do we know we are taking the right action when we do, and can we trust that we are being led in that action by our highest inner wisdom? Can we also trust that there is a higher purpose to what we are going through? And what are we seeking? To influence and change others? To prove we are right, and they are wrong? Are we actually seeking external validation? Forgetting that the most important validation is that within our own soul. Can we trust that our soul can lead us to peace and joy? But do we even know our soul? And how can we know our soul when we live in a face-paced world where opinions and rhetoric are shouted and fed through all mediums at us. Where we saturate our lives with the Olympic motto of faster, higher, stronger. Where we push ourselves to outrun, outlive, and outdo all around us. And where has all this outrunning, outliving, and outdoing led us? To happiness? To Joy? To inner peace? We know it hasn't. Because something calls deep within us. Something yearns to be heard. Something we can't name is pulling us towards a higher path. It is our soul, calling us home. Calling us to connect with our true self. Connect with that inner peace and inner wisdom that lies with us. Calling us to move forward with grace and ease and choose our course of action from that grace. Our soul calls us to connect in with our purpose. It directs us with grace and ease towards that purpose with laser-like precision whilst infusing our lives with joy, wisdom and that inner peace that we have long yearned for. Our soul is our healing light through this inner crisis, guiding us, restoring our peace and connecting us with our higher purpose. Your Soul connection meditation: Get comfortable in a chair. Take some deep breaths and relax down into the chair. Notice your feet on the floor, and the earth beneath your feet. Imagine your feet are drawing up the wisdom and healing energy of the earth. Up through your feet, up through your legs, your torso, up to the top of your head. Then notice golden chords reaching up above your head, and these connect in with the energy of your soul about a metre, (3 feet) above your head. Now from within this space, ask yourself, what would my soul do, say, think, feel in this moment? Wait, notice, feel the energy around you. Then ask again, what would my soul do, say, think, feel in this moment? Sit with this energy. Don't try to force an answer, just enjoy the space and the energy that is building and repeat the question. What does my soul, do, say, think, feel in this moment? Enjoy the energy. Then when you are ready, slowly come back to the room. Feel your feet on the floor. Wriggle your toes, move your hands. Stretch. Then open your eyes, have a drink of water and have a great day. Then, periodically throughout the day, stop and ask the question. What would my soul do, say, think, feel in this moment?
